It has been my joy and incredible honor to have met with hundreds and hundreds of LGBTQ+ people over the years and walk with them towards health and healing in their lives. What I’ve seen as I’ve worked with the queer community is an economic disparity between LGBTQ+ folks and their straight peers. So with the help of some amazing friends, I started Affirming Therapy. We are working to change the landscape of mental health services for LGBTQ+ people. We believe money shouldn’t be the thing that gets in the way of queer people getting the support they need and want.
